Does your state allow past masters to wear a collar instead of a cord with a past masters jewel

Georgia authorizes a PM jewel? Very cool. My first time through the line I learned the term "past master's jewel" to mean my PM ring. Now I want to visit a GA lodge and see those cords and jewels!

Yeah I'm a past master and I proudly wear my collar and jewel ..as long as the jewel is silver and not gold and the collar has to be blue and not purple ..gold and purple r for grand lodge officers only

Another cool difference! My California lodge has gold colored jewels and collar decorations as our extra fancy set for installations and OVs only, a set that has silver colored jewels and collar decorations for degrees only, a set of silver colors jewels on cords for stated meetings. And a bunch of spare sets that are the result of absorbing a bunch of lodges in consolidations.

But all blue none purple as that's reserved for GL as in your jurisdiction. Plus the GL jewels are much more ornate than our craft lodge jewels.

NM traditionally gifts the outgoing Master with an apron, and they differ annually. I've never seen a PM neck jewel used(cord or collar), though a very few PMs have pin-style breast jewels.
